Minister Sharma signed the minutes of the India-Czech Joint Commission which took place earlier, during which he set a target of doubling bilateral trade taking it to a level of USD 2 billion for the India-Czech bilateral trade by 2015.
Minister Anand Sharma also announced the participation of the Czech Republic as partner country in the 2013 edition of the India Engineering Sourcing Show.
The event was also addressed by Minister of Industry & Trade of the Czech Republic, Mr. M Kuba. Two MoUs were signed between the Czech Export Bank and Export Import Bank of India and between EEPC India and the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic.
